MUALLIM: A total of 111 people from 25 families are still being housed at a temporary relief center (PPS) in the Muallim district as of Wednesday.
A spokesperson from the District Disaster Committee stated that the relief center is located at Masjid Jamek Kampung Pasir and the affected area is Kampung Pasir.
He mentioned that the PPS has been operational since August 23 and, so far, it is the only relief center open, while others have been closed due to improved weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the Malaysian Meteorological Department forecasts that most areas in Perak will experience rain in the afternoon.
However, no warnings for thunderstorms or continuous rain have been issued.
