IPOH – Cititel Express Ipoh, a three-star hotel located in the heart of Ipoh, has officially reopened following its refurbishment in June 2023.

Cititel Express Ipoh’s Hotel Manager, Masyitah Dato’ Muhamed Noor Husen, said the renovation was aimed at enhancing the overall guest experience, in line with the hotel’s vision.

“The refurbishment showcases a blend of contemporary modern concepts and functional design. The rooms have been revamped to offer spacious and luxurious interiors, catering to guests seeking comfort and convenience,” she told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.

“Our hotel’s strategic location provides panoramic views of Ipoh City, the Kinta River, and Ipoh Padang, all surrounded by majestic mountains,” she added.

The hotel’s 12th floor underwent a significant transformation, converting 21 rooms into a multifunctional space.

“This floor now houses the reception area, a café, a lounge, and two versatile meeting rooms. The Padang Terrace Coffee House, surrounded by glass panels, allows guests to enjoy breathtaking views of Ipoh, particularly during sunset,” Masyitah remarked.

Meanwhile, Estee Tan Siok Thieng, Senior General Manager of IGB Bhd, announced special promotions in conjunction with Visit Perak Year 2024.
