GOPENG: The atmosphere reminiscent of the old days was felt by visitors at the luxurious Bagas Zakariah Orchard Lodge here, celebrating Malaysia Day.
The excitement was palpable with various antics from the guests, and numerous community activities were organized.
These included traditional games such as congkak, dam aji, tin throwing, tug of war, outdoor cinema, karaoke competitions, and much more.
Visitors also enjoyed a variety of village foods, including lempeng, nasi lemak, various traditional snacks, and of course, durian.
The event was further enlivened with musical performances, singing, and group dances.
The Nostalgia Program at Bagas Zakariah Orchard Lodge invited guests to celebrate the spirit of Malaysia Day.
The highlight of the event was a fireworks display at midnight on September 16.
