TAIPING: Filled with a spirit of sportsmanship.
More than 50 participants from the local Sikh community took part in the 2024 Badminton Championship @ Taiping Sikhs, organized by Gurdwara Sahib Taiping.
The event was held in collaboration with the Youth Assembly of Perak for the N.30 Buntong constituency and the local Sikh community at Kawasaki Badminton Hall, Taiping.
The main objective of the program is to provide opportunities and awareness to the Sikh community about the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the #HealthyProsperous community in line with Malaysia’s MADANI plan.
The program was officiated by the Chairman of the Larut Matang Taiping District Youth Council, Syazwan Zaiharin.
Also present were the President of GS Taiping, Balraaj Preet, and the Program Director, who is also the Vice President of GS Taiping, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Retired) Ranjit Singh.
In a social media post, Khuswindera Singh, the State Youth Assembly representative for N.30 Buntong, expressed his gratitude to all involved.
“Thank you to all committee members who contributed to the success of this program.
“Let’s continue to work together and support as well as participate in our future activities,” he said.
