TAIPING: The appeal of Taiping as a tourist destination continues to be promoted in creative and engaging ways.
This was achieved by Tourism Perak through the Fun Ride Railway To See Malaysia (RTSM) program for the Visit Perak Year 2024, Series 2, held at the Taiping Zoo premises.
A total of 200 participants from within and outside Perak took part.
Participants were taken on a cycling tour of tourist locations (Taiping Heritage Maps) covering approximately 50 kilometers.
The ride began at the Pavilion Square of Taiping Zoo, leading participants along rural paths while enjoying the scenic beauty of the surrounding villages.
The program concluded at Simpang 4, Changkat Jering.
Earlier, the participants were flagged off by the State Assemblyman for Pokok Assam, Ong Sen Guan, along with the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Perak, Nurmalis Musa.
The smooth running of the program was supported by Puncak Emas Infra Sdn. Bhd., which provided snacks and emergency assistance throughout the event.
Such programs indirectly promote a healthy lifestyle while also showcasing tourist locations in Perak for Visit Perak Year 2024.
