IPOH: The public is encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) to make reports without the need to visit a police station.

The PDRM e-Reporting system is a service that allows the public to file police reports online for matters that do not involve criminal cases and do not require further investigation by the police.

The e-Reporting system is limited to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above, who must register in the system, which can be accessed anytime from locations with internet connectivity.

It is worth noting that the e-Reporting system was launched by the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Datuk Sri Khalid Abu Bakar, on March 10, 2017.

Types of e-Reporting Complaints:

  1. Lost Misplaced Identity Card.
  2. Lost Misplaced Driving License.
  3. Lost Misplaced Credit/ATM Card.
  4. Lost Mobile Phone.
  5. Lost Laptop.
  6. Lost Road Tax.
  7. Runaway Maid – For the purpose of applying for the cancellation of the maid’s permit only.
  8. Loss or damage of equipment or documents due to natural disasters.

This facility is specifically provided for making police reports regarding the loss of documents or items that do not relate to criminal offenses.
