Ipoh’s Smart City Planning Attracts Delegation Visits from Nanning

IPOH: The planning of Ipoh as a smart city has garnered interest from external parties looking to learn more and share information.

Recently, the Ipoh City Council welcomed a delegation from Nanning, China, led by Yan Yifeng, Deputy Director of the Nanning Data Bureau, accompanied by four other senior officials.

The visit aimed to establish a strategic partnership in the smart city sector between MBI and the Nanning delegation, particularly regarding the implementation of smart traffic control systems already in place in Ipoh.

This visit is expected to strengthen the relationship between MBI and the Nanning delegation.

In another development, MBI also received a visit from a delegation of the Langkawi Municipal Council, a tourism city.

The visit involved 13 staff members led by their officer, Anis Salihah Zabudin.

The purpose of this visit was to create a strategic partnership between both parties concerning the implementation of digital business licenses used by MBI.
