It’s Not the First Time Mysterious Explosions Have Occurred; Government Needs to Issue Official Statement

By Aida Aziz

IPOH: PAS Perak is calling for a thorough investigation and an official statement from the state or federal government regarding the explosion sounds and tremors in Ipoh last Monday.

Its commissioner, Razman Zakaria, claimed that this is not the first time such incidents have occurred, citing similar occurrences in 2012 and 2018.

“PAS Perak, along with the community, especially residents around Ipoh, seeks clarification from the government and authorities concerning the mysterious explosion on Monday, October 21.

“It remains a mystery without explanation from the authorities to this day.

“According to sources, these explosions have previously been reported in 2012, 2018, and now in 2024.

“They have also been recorded happening around the same time, approximately 11 a.m. This indicates a pattern of occurrence every six years for the third time.

“If this is true, the mystery is significant and requires an official statement from the authorities,” he said in a statement here today

Razman noted that PAS Perak is aware of various denials regarding the mystery explosion theory, including the latest denial from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), which dismissed the possibility of sonic booms following a theory proposed by an expert recently.

“PAS Perak is also following the denials from the Meteorological and Geoscience Department (JMG), the District Land Office (PDT), the General Operations Force (PGA), the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF), and others.

“Denials from relevant authorities mean little without an official statement from the government.

“This official statement is crucial for reference and accountability for any actions that may occur.

“PAS Perak insists that a comprehensive investigation is conducted and an official statement from the state or federal government must be issued.

“This is necessary to address the repeated occurrences of this mysterious event that continues to cause anxiety among the residents of Perak, particularly in Ipoh,” he added.

Last Monday, media reported sounds of explosions and tremors around 11 a.m. in Ipoh, causing alarm and panic among residents.

Even now, many are still puzzled about what happened that caused the loud noises and tremors.
