Ground Subsidence Complaint at Lapangan Perdana Resolved

IPOH: The Gopeng Parliamentary Service Center has taken the initiative to address a complaint regarding ground subsidence in the area.

In a social media post, Gopeng MP Tan Kar Hing announced that his office received complaints from the public concerning ground subsidence at Lapangan Perdana 19.

Following the complaint, an immediate report was made to the relevant authorities to conduct an investigation so that the issue could be resolved promptly.

“When dealing with subsidence issues like this, the most important thing is to ensure that underground infrastructure is not affected.

“Therefore, Perak Water Board (LAP), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), and telecommunications providers have collaborated to survey the area.

“This is to identify whether there are any buried pipes, cables, or other infrastructure underground,” he said.

He noted that repair work was completed in one day.

“We would like to inform you that the ground subsidence issue has been successfully resolved and the road has been reopened.

“If you have any complaints, please contact us directly.

“We will continue to ensure that the infrastructure in the Gopeng parliamentary area is well maintained,” he stated.
