IPOH: The contributions and sacrifices of police personnel are never forgotten, especially festive seasons.
Held at the Media Room of the Perak Police Contingent Headquarters, a Deepavali token event was organised to recognize the role of the police.
Deputy Chief of Police of Perak, Deputy Commissioner Zulkafli Sariaat, welcomed a visit from members of the Kinta Indian Welfare, Social, Sports, and Cultural Association.
Led by the association’s chairman, P. Uvaraja, the visit was to present tokens in the form of bags containing traditional Indian foods.
These included snacks like maruku, nuts, and others from the association in celebration of Deepavali.
These tokens serve as an appreciation for the staff at the Perak Police Headquarters, who have dedicated themselves to maintaining public safety and security.
It also symbolises the strong cooperation between the police and the community.
