IPOH: The police and the community are inseparable.
This slogan, which is a guiding principle for police officers, signifies that the members of the security forces are always there to assist the community.
This was proven by Sergeant Mohamad Subri Abdullah, Corporal Rohimah Ibrahim, and Lance Corporal Muhammad Hilmi Baharum.
While on a crime prevention patrol last Wednesday night, these three officers from the Pasir Puteh Police Station helped members of the public facing difficulties.
They assisted a driver whose vehicle had broken down due to a flat tire while traveling to Kuala Lumpur.
Though the help provided was small, it was of great significance to those in need.
The same act of assistance was also carried out by members of the Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) Unit from the Crime Prevention and Community Safety Division of the Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) while on their patrol.
They took proactive measures to assist a road user who had crashed into a road divider on Jalan Besar Pasir Puteh on Tuesday.
The swift actions of Corporal Hafizul Nizam Mohamad and Constable Mohamad Ikhwan Aiman Mohamad Fadli, who were attentive during peak hours, helped to prevent traffic congestion.
This ensured smooth traffic flow and guaranteed the safety of other road users.
The personnel of the Ipoh IPD have demonstrated high commitment in carrying out their duties to provide the best service to the community.
