IPOH: Kinder Labz was abuzz with excitement as the nursery and kindergarten celebrated its much-anticipated K2 Convocation! The event was a joyful celebration of talent and a proud moment for the school, as they cheered on their Class of 2024 K2 graduates.
In her opening speech, Ms. Evelyn Chen, the Director of Schools of Bonanza Educare, spoke poignantly about the importance of friendship in the students’ journey. She highlighted how the children learnt priceless lessons from their peers, including lessons of kindness, cooperation and support.
“Today, we’re celebrating not just how much you’ve learnt, but the friendships you’ve built,” she shared, engaging the children with questions to remind them of what it means to be a good friend. The students answered enthusiastically, showcasing their understanding of kindness and teamwork.
The programme then featured welcoming speeches in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and English by student representatives. The audience was also treated to lively percussion pieces, energetic class dances, and a choral performance of Peng You, Auld Lang Syne, and the Thank You Song, prompting smiles and warm reactions from the audience.
The highlight of the day was the Scroll Presentation Ceremony, where each graduate received their certificate, serving as a significant milestone in their lives. Signifying the next phase of the students’ academic journey, the celebration was wrapped up with the mortarboards being thrown.
