A four-year-old girl with cervical chordoma was in tears as her dream to visit Lost World of Tambun came true on Saturday, October 20.
Board member of the Children’s Wish Society of Malaysia (CWS), Gordon Hendricks said the girl, Firasz Nur Rayhan from Kajang, Selangor, has a tumour growth at her spine. She had always wanted to visit the theme park having heard so much about it.
“Upon receiving her request from the hospital, we contacted the park management and together we planned the trip.
“She was taken on a tour of the site spending time at the petting zoo where she saw and touched various kinds of birds, reptiles and animals housed there. She played at the water park, watched the tiger show and had fun at the hot springs,” he said.
Firasz enjoyed being a party to the attractions, as were her parents. “I am so excited to be here. Thank you everyone for making my dream come true,” she exclaimed.
Lost World of Tambun played the perfect host by looking into her needs. They hosted the whole family to a 3D/2N stay at the resort, free-of-charge.
CWS is a non-profit NGO dedicated to fulfilling wishes of terminally-ill children in Malaysia.
