IPOH – In a proactive effort to instil health awareness from a young age, Pantai Hospital Ipoh recently organized an interactive educational programme themed by Dr Little’s A&E Superheroes Virus Defender.
Combining fun and information, the hospital successfully educated children on the importance of maintaining good health and recognizing early signs of illnesses.
The event, which involved 100 children, highlighted engaging activities aimed at teaching young participants about disease prevention and treatment in an enjoyable yet effective manner.
Through various interactive missions, the children were guided to identify symptoms, make diagnoses, and understand treatments for illnesses such as hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD), diarrhoea, conjunctivitis, and other infectious diseases.
Meanwhile, parents participated in dialogue sessions with Pantai Hospital Ipoh’s consultants, covering topics such as paediatrics, dentistry, internal medicine, and endocrinology. These sessions provided valuable insights into managing common childhood ailments.
At the end of the event, participants were awarded certificates of participation and goodie bags as tokens of appreciation for completing their missions.
The programme received an overwhelming response, reflecting the strong collaboration between parents, children, and medical professionals in fostering health awareness and family wellness.
