BATU GAJAH: The Batu Gajah District Council (MDBG) has once again reminded residents that disposing of bulk waste in public garbage bins or dumping rubbish outside designated areas is an offence.
Improper waste disposal not only mars the cleanliness of public spaces but also leads to unpleasant odours and potential health hazards.
Despite repeated warnings, some individuals continue to dispose of their waste irresponsibly, prompting MDBG to take strict enforcement measures against offenders.
MDBG will not hesitate to issue compounds to those who violate these regulations, as enforcement operations are being carried out regularly to ensure public cleanliness and safety,” the council stated.
The public is urged to play an active role by reporting illegal waste disposal via the Perak State Public Complaints Management System at https://perak.spab.gov.my to help maintain a cleaner and healthier environment for all.
