IPOH: A total of 1,000 packs of bubur lambuk were distributed to residents of Puncak Jelapang Maju in Ipoh, Perak, as part of the Gerak Rahmah Jom Masak Bubur Perpaduan programme.
The initiative was organised by the Kelab Jelapang Rahmah in collaboration with the Jelapang assemblyman’s office.
According to Jelapang assemblyman Cheah Pou Hian, all the bubur lambuk was prepared through a communal gotong-royong effort and distributed within just an hour.
“This programme not only continues to uphold our annual tradition but also strengthens the bond among the multiracial community in Jelapang,” he said.
