Perak Bison Emerged Champion

The Sepak Takraw League (STL) Premier came to an end on Sunday, November 3 after Perak Bison grabbed the champions title at Stadium Indera Mulia, Ipoh.
Perak Bison took home a trophy and a cash prize of RM50,000 after defeating Penang Black Panthers by 21-17, 21-19.
Playing in their homeland stadium, Perak Bison brought in Meor Zulfikar Mat Amin, Asraaf Abd Hadi and Amirul Ramdhan in the first half and Natthawut Naewprom from Thailand in the second half.
Penang Black Panthers front-liners were Said Ezwan, Zulhusni Basri and Azlan Alias.
Coming in at second place, ATM Guardians walked away with a cash prize of RM30,000 while their manager Mejar Tajul Hisyam Mamat was awarded as Best Team Manager while Aswadi Abdullah was announced as the Best Team Coach.
Johor Tigris came in third and won a cash prize of RM20,000.
The top five teams of the STL 2019, namely, Perak Bison, ATM Guardians, Johor Tigris, Penang Black Panthers and Kelantan Warriors will be competing at upcoming STL Champions Cup together with Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, China and the Philippines.
The STL Champions Cup will be held at Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studio, Johor from December 22 to 28.
